The Marmoset in Neuroscience

The 4th INT international conference, dedicated this year to "The Marmoset in Neuroscience", will be held in Marseille on March 22-23, 2018.

The marmoset monkey emerges as an increasingly promising model for fundamental as well as clinical neuroscience research. There is a large international development in this area with initiatives such as the Japan’s Brain/MINDS project. The Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone is one of the leading primate research Center in France and is closely following this evolution.

It will be the first event of this kind to be organized in France with the aim of presenting the state-of-the-art in this area of exciting methodological and scientific developments. The Conference is open to all neuroscientists already working with non-human primates, as well as those interested in learning more about this model and his potentials.

Eighteen lectures by leading international experts will present over two days recent advances with this promising emerging model.
